Is this system overkill or underkill for what i want

Normal stuff just includes watching fims, internet, some photo editing, But its definitely not intended for games at all. Thanks for your adjusted spec.

OC Said about the Titan pc with the GFX card because using on-board graphics chips do use your system memory so ill not be able to use the whole 8gb you get with the Titan PC,also graphics cards do actually also increase the performance of video/image editing tasks where as on-board graphics will actually struggle.

So McGraw do you still say the Titan is a good pc for me? maybe minus the GFX card?

Or is it the one danny has suggested?

Elaborate on "normal stuff" because if that means playing modern games the video card falls short.

You could probably get this built for around £850:

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £786.16
(includes shipping: £12.30)

There won't be any overclocking with that budget board so 450W will be more than fine. CPU stock speed is already very high so no need for OC.

Note this spec is missing a 1TB HDD which was part of the Titan spec. You may want that as part of your storage plan, I don't know. Also different cheaper case to fit some nicer goodies in.

Just thought I'd throw that at you as you're quite close to having a very decent build for video editing with 8 threads and that will handle games better (not sure if needed).

Think i might ask OC how much it would cost to do this custom build,Minus the cd/dvd writer as i think i would like a case without bays, also going to add another 1TB HDD.
