Is this the cheapest we will ever see DDR3?

Cant believe you can get 8 gigs for 45 quid here now, just bought a pack purely as a spare..

Reminds me of the great DDR2 sell off / pricecrash which was a precursor for much higher memory prices.

What do others think?

Never say never but I can't see prices dropping much further, we might see larger/faster kits coming in a bit though. I thought I was getting a great deal paying £61.98 for 8GB Corsair Vengeance about 5 weeks ago (normal price was £80), wish I'd waited now.

One thing that has surprised me is with latency, still not many offerings below CL9 and those that are carry a fairly hefty premium.

The prices are pretty good at the minute, i picked up my tri channel ocz reaper, 7-7-7-24 for £160.00, you can get a 24gb pack for a few quid more than that now, or 12gb for £80-110.00.
