...is this the next BIG thing..??

Fly-eye kits have been going on for ages. They're the preferred method to darken lights without spraying them or covering them with your Mam's tights as in the olden days. They don't reduce the light output that much either so are cop friendly. Don't think I've ever heard of someone being pulled over for them.

They can look OK from a distance on some cars, but don't look that great close up. Completely temporary and dead easy to remove if needs be,

Love their web site

Tinting your vehicle's headlights and rear lamps can look great, but normally it's a time consuming
and fiddly job. FlyEyesKit are the world's first to introduce a new ultra flexible tinting material for
vehicles headlamp
and rear lights that can be applyed in minutes

If you're underlining these as grammatical errors, you should probably re-read your apostrophe knowledge..

"he law/Mot hand book within the UK states that front primary lighting must produce a White or Yellow light. There is no documentation about the colour of the actual lens.

Our Clear/SubtleTint/GunSmoke/OpticBlue light protection films all produce a legal natural light colour, and our Yellow produces a Yellow tinted light which is of course perfectly legal within the UK."

Someone I know had this done. He's gone back to standard now and good on him I say. :)

bonnet bras serve a purpose. on my mk4 r32, due to the shape of the front end it was notoriously bad for getting stone chips. Anytime I went on a longish run in it, I used the bra.

I just can't see the logic in that at all.

The Bra costs about the same as a bonnet respray, so inorder to save your paint you end up driving round looking like a ****.

Why not drive round, NOT looking like a **** and use the money you've saved by NOT buying a bra on a bonnet respray when the time comes?

Or use some of that clear stick on film that you get to protect from stone chips, i bet it's even cheaper and you don't look like an idiot driving it.
As for legality, I'd be concerned that it would cover up the rear reflectors .

You can get a bonnet respray for £50?

The paint on the r32 was a pearl, and really difficult to get a paint match even when blending it in.

I dont get what the fuss is all about, same as the thread about the A1's the other day everyone in the motors section seems to have a chip on their shoulder or their heads up their own arse.

Ah yes i forgot, people now have a chip on their shoulder should they disagree or question anyone else.

Last time i checked, and it might have been a different site to you etc, a good quality bra was around £150 - £200, granted this was some time ago.

Like i said, the benefit of fitting a Bra is outweighed by the disadvantages, why not fit a clear film instead? Isn't the whole point of buying a car to enjoy how it looks?

Why not just use paint protection film instead of hiding the front of your car with a bra. I can only see a bra being counter intuitive because when it rains dust/grit will run down behind the bra and just rub on the paint when the car is driven.
