I wonder if the Mac Pro will get an update also?
+ Apple already use DDR3 in the new notebooks. The Mac Pro is due an jump although there's talk that Intel have delayed the deployment of the chips. This may make that Apple delay too - I doubt that they'll run with near-obsolete FB-DIMM as Intel have declared that they'll switch to DDR3 which apple may take (being forefront technology).
Gotcha, cheers- even tho the Mac Pro's are a little out of my price range, I like to keep an eye on them... If I ever win the lottery, I'll know what to get!
I guess DDR3 makes sense, maybe they'll go for dual i7 chips which should be rather fast.
All Mac models that will be available for sale when snow leopard is released will have Nvidia architecture. So everything will be getitng an update before then, sans the notebooks obviously.
