Every developed country is capitalist to an extend. However, some of the more socialist countries, such as the Nordics, have much better social equality.

Some want to go further. Switzerland is about to vote on a bill that would limit pay to 12x the company's lowest earner. Personally, I think that's flawed as it'll only encourage companies to outsource lower paid jobs. It demonstrates the mood of the country though.

Well, Magnolia hasn't gone anywhere and posts multiple times a day. You may miss Kwerk but a lot of people here don't [me excluded] and I have no clue who Big T Williams is but he sounds like a rancher.

Tony Williams is a figure everybody should aspire to be more like. If they did, the charts would be full of more music of the likes of the Stones, the Beatles and the Who instead of Miley ****** Cyrus.

What a load of rubbish. If you thought this country was that bad you would have left. Simple as that. You haven't left because this county is a hell of a lot better than most to live in.

Just another person that loves to put capitalism down while enjoying all the benefits it provides.

The systems failed because people wanted them to, this is the point, if capitalism is so effective why do capitalist regimes work so hard to make communist ones fail?

I only stay for the friends and family I have in this country, I don't endeavour to be a good law abiding citzen, or make a lot of money or be any kind of upstanding pillar of society.

Anarcho Syndicalism is a valid alternative, either you believe in free markets and think it'll work, or you recognise our current system favours the already rich and powerful while penalising those with great minds willing to work hard, just not born into a life of privilege.

Go look up operation northwoods and operation mockingbird if you seriously think governments don''t **** with anything that threatens to upset the status quo.

Why is it whenever someone speaks out against the current inefficient monopolistic system of capitalism and suggests an entirely different version, a version which actually does justice to Adam Smiths work in free market economics, that people suddenly assume you're some sort of idiotic sheep that doesn't actually do anything or study the subjects?

All I want is democracy and an efficient economic system, is that too much to ask for?

As just a few examples are you referring to the communist government that allowed Russian Nuclear warheads to be parked just off the USA's coast or the Communist government that flattened Chechnya or perhaps the communist government that murdered with impunity in Bosnia?

Makes you wonder why we'd want those to fail doesn't it?

Communism as a principle isn't the problem, it's that in general militarist power hungry megalomaniac psychopaths end up running things in communist governments.

No it really isn't. Yes the system favours the rich but in my experience its the rich that create the vast majority of jobs for Joe Public and thats why as a society we look to them and aspire to be like them.

Certainly my CEO who is a millionaire is decent hard working man who wasn't born into privilege, he started a business many years ago and now employs 32 staff. The problem with people like you is that you tar all the rich people with the same brush without actually stopping for a reailty check.

People earning large amounts of money doesn't bother me assuming they pay tax, they have contributed to the world and so should be rewarded. The problem is people inheriting wealth and "old money". It means that a family who them and several generations of the family before them haven't done anything useful for generations yet get rewarded.

However they say that if we taxed these people they would all move abroad. I guess we need a worldwide change which isn't going to happen any time soon.

Sure there is inheritance tax but it is easily avoided.

We don't have a monarchy, people don't inherit power any more they have to earn it, I feel it should be the same for money.

Lol, so much hypocrisy and bull-crap in this post... Hard to know where to start.

1) Cuban missile crisis, USA had nukes in Turkey pointed at USSR way before that, soviets decided to do the same and USA crapped themselves, you cant blame Soviets for putting missiles in CUBA while they had exactly same thing pointed at them in Turkey

2) Flattened Chechnya?? Chechen war happened after break up of soviet union, chechens openly admit and admitted to carry out terrorist actions on Russian soil... This is no worse than invasion of Iraq/Afghanistan on made up "chemical weapons" and "terrorism" evidence... Russia invaded chechnya for legitimate reason. Have a look at Grozny today and 20 years ago... And then have a look of pictures from Iraq/Afghanistan pre war and today, make up your mind who flattened who.

3) Bosnia, very controversial subject cant blame soviet union for this as this happened after dissolution of it, Soviets were always anti-racist and for friendships of different nationalities... It wasnt Communist regime that committed those atrocities.

Overall, epic bull-crap.
