There must have been something wrong with your psu then. The rig in my siggy plus a pair of sata ll hdd's, sata dvdrw, 5x fans and a Zalman ZM-MFC2 multifunction controller only pulls a max of 274w at the wall and that's when running Fur stability test and Prime together.

my 380watt runs, 2-3 hdds, 1 i5, 4gb, 4 fans, hd4670 and dvd so id say yes to
