I currently have a "Primo Drone" AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 250 3.00GHz DDR3 System.

What I have been thinking about doing is changing my processor to a AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz

In the box there were two motherboard boxes I have checked the support site for both to see if this can work and it says yes they can support it.

My graphics card is a nvidia geforce gt 220 and im not sure about
upgrading it.

Also I would add windows 7 home premium 64-Bit (I was stupid and chose 32-bit), change the case to a Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case, add OcUK 30cm Cold Cathode 2-in-1 Kit - UV and finally add Corsair Airflow Dual-Channel Fan.

Altogether this will cost £260-ish and I would like to keep it preferably under £350. Is this upgrade possible

The case you selected is Micro ATX only (or uATX) and of the 2 motherboards you selected only the M4A78LT-M will fit.

@holdyourcol8r - ASUS M2N68-AM-SE2 is an Micro ATX motherboard so yes.

The zalman isn't a micro atx only case, it can take full size atx motherboards so his mobo will fit fine.

Lol thanks for confusing me.. Just noticed he wants to change the case too.. so it's almost a whole new rebuild rather than just an upgrade o.O
