Is this upload reasonable for 21CN?

I was really expecting my line to be able to get the advertised 1.4 on 21CN but I am falling short. The downstream rate is pretty much spot on though, stuck with 2,000 IP profile because I had to change router...... BT being really fair as usual

I am still in my 10 day training period and supposedly BT will not touch anything. Is my upload synch likely to improve when my IP profile gets reset?

Changing router shouldn't affect IP profile - tho IIRC it usually starts at 2Mbit during training but it should rise inline with download sync speed within 72 hours max and usually quicker.

Upstream sync is a little low for the attenuation and snr but again could rise during the 10 day period - that said I don't know many people who get much over 1.1Mbit upload syncs with 21CN even with excellent stats - highest I know of is 1200 w/ an attenuation of 8 and SNR of 11 IIRC.

Swifty55 is correct.

The main down side is that your line is already pushing at the 6Db SNR threshold, so the benefits from losing that download for more upload may be marginal.

Yeah he might be able to get a bit better upload speed by syncing at a time of day when em interference is lowest - usually during the morning, any time from about 9pm til 2am onwards is a bad time to sync (unless you want max stability).
