Is Thorpe Park any good?

I got 2 for 1 tickets on Google nexus 7 purchase, never been to Thorpe Park.

Does it have a lot of adult rides? Does it have many roller coasters?

It's has lots of good rides for adults as well, the Saw ride is excellent

It is great, go on Stealth, but make sure you do not reach for the seatbelt under the seat first while holding onto the overhead bars. I did that and the bar came down as my head was through the shoulder section of the bar... The member of staff looked at me and laughed. They had to put all the bars up again so I could do mine properly. My mate next to me was laughing so hard. I never felt so stupid before.

I prefer it to Alton Towers; some great rides and not as spread out.
Worth a day trip

Its probably the best theme park in the UK at the moment. They invested a lot of money and the rides are excellent. Well worth the visit.

Havent been to Thorpe Park in ages but was pretty good when we did go, All i remember was going on Tidal Wave and getting to the top and going "whyyyyyyyyy....."

Definitely good place to go. Much better than Chessington nowadays (was the other way round about 10-15 years ago).

Thorpe Park has installed quite a few decent coaster in the last decade or so.

Nemisis Inferno, Colossus, Stealth, Saw the Ride and now Swarm

TBH I'd rather go to Thorpe Park right now over Alton Towers (although can't wait to see what 'SW7' turns out to be next year at AT).

I went last week. It was great fun. Only really waited for a long time on the newest ride swarm at the end of the day. About an hour and a bit. It was very tiresome.

You can and I would save a little money and buy a few fast passes, they are £5 each and will get you substantially further up the queue.

I will forever be embarrassed that I screamed my lungs out when the detonator dropped. Can't help it, does it to me every time.

We have a Merlin annual pass, Thorpe Park has definately overtaken AT as the best theme park in recent times. We go to Thorpe Park several times a year, always enjoyable.

Thorpe Park is awesome. Always worth taking a day off and going in the week through to avoid long queues on rides.
