Yesterday installed Far Cry 3 on the PC and now find that another title (indie train sim ZD Simulator) which had a hardware specific activation code has reverted to demo mode. Coincidence, or does this mean Uplay has installed a root kit which makes the other programme think I've changed my hardware?
The ZD guys are being very helpful and sorting me a fresh code but I shall be rather annoyed if Ubisoft are so paranoid installing one of their games borks up the PC.
