Anyway yes its out on the PS3 on friday, its good fun and the mods are making it better all the time. Dont forget to install on HDD to reduce texture pop in as its a UE3 game.
Never knew a console game could do that! Sounds pretty sensible if you ask me, Gears of War could have used that feature at times in the game

I wasn't overwhelmed, its ok but its still not as good as the original UT.
I was thinking of getting this just to have an FPS on the PS3 and so I could play it sitting back for a change, but I watched some videos and the movement seems a bit stiff where as the PC is very fluid, so I'm going to stick with the version I have on PC.
Probably going to finally buy my Dualshock 3 instead.

It's not but it does exactly what it says on the tin and nothing more, if your expecting more than a standard UT game, don't bother with it.
Thanks for the info dude, but split screen ain't a concern I only do online multiplayer except for fighting games.
Prefer fullscreen gaming, looking at a screen split in half does my head in now.

Well I don't think its a lot to expect that it should be better than a game released almost 10 years ago. I just think they've gone the opposite route of Bungie and left the levels over designed. I kept finding myself being distracted from the gameplay by over decorated walls and stuff.
I'm totally confused by this. A game which is coming out for the 360 and you're calling him a 360 troll because he doesn't like a game which has been out on the PC and the PS3 (NTSC) since December?

I have only played UT 2003 and 2004 but they were never on par with UT. They were good and I played them... but they lacked the shoot now aim later that UT had.
