Is upgrading my OS worth it for my uses?

Hey guys,

I have the notification about upgrading my Catalina OS to Montarey..

Now all I use my Mac for is Safari, Spotify, e-mail and RekordBox..

Will I see anything beneficial even for these low use cases...?

Why would you not upgrade? Eventually security updates for Catalina and Big Sur will fizzle out. You can read the OS improvements yourself on the various review sites.

Finally got round to update from Catalina to Monterey..

Must say, right now (even with the 8gb RAM) it feels a bit snappier...dunno if its just me or not?


Also -

Its cleaned up my SSD by quite a few GBs, impressed!
