so ive connected an older 32" samsung lcd tv to see how it looks and the one hdmi port i chose(not that i know if it makes any difference) seemed to have allowed me the super option in the radeon software which i chose the 2560x1440(tv stated 1280x720 via info button) which i did have to adjust scaling for use before anything else and i managed to play Doom and CS:GO at this resolution on the highest settings, in my case using afterburner to record did seem to cause stutter etc compared to normally at lower res where recording has no effect, so performance was lower, but looked good lol.
anyways i changed the settings to 1920x1080i which apparently tv supports and selecting this has forced me to use another hdmi port(one that states pc rather than game mode like the other does) due to game mode not supported and now im on this port, 1920x1080 doesnt scale and my software gives no super res option..
so the rambling aside, is this a good feature to use? my hardware obviously not quite up to it i guess, but my smaller tv didnt allow for this option either and that only has 1 hdmi input.
