Is what I want impossible?

Hey, I have a 65 inch 4k TV with a 5.1 KEF surround sound downstairs and its downright AMAZING and immersive from a sound perspective.

Upstairs I'd like a workstation. Thats a 21:9 monitor.

Its difficult as desk-gaming is sometimes really nice and attractive. I really want to experience 21:9 but likewise I can't give up that 5.1 surround sound w/subwoofer which destroys my house.

I really don't want to buy two PCs. Is there some form of work around or portable case which could help me with my needs or is what I want pretty much impossible.

I don't know if people still take their own kit to LAN events, or anything, but they used to and there's a fair few cases designed around this, along with rucksacks for all the accompanying peripherals and such.

Several cases have handles on them, if that's what you're after?
The CoolerMaster Trooper case and the Corsair C70 spring to mind quite readily.

You could always mod a handle in - It won't be feather-light, but it's a lot easier than trying to lug around an Enthoo Primo all the time!

Either use a fairly long HDMI cable or get a case so all you have to do is pick it up and move it, Mini-Itx or a normal ATX sized case would work. I personally think the HDMI cable is the best option depending on how long you'd need it.

How do you connect keyboard & mouse when using a 10m HDMI cable? Considering something similar myself.

10m usb cable and a hub?
:p

I use a wireless logitech kb/mouse with the usb receiver on an extension so its positioned nicely.. Didnt work when it was plugged directly into the HTPC (back or front), but with a short extension and putting it somewhere away from electronics (double sided taped to the inside of the hifi rack) it works perfectly.

I have a Bluetooth keyboard in the living room and my controller is Bluetooth, the PC is in the front room with the KB&M.

I could have run a USB cable through if I wanted but it's fine as it is.
