Is Windows 8 so bad?

I think Metro would work great on a tablet and even some desktop users may prefer it, but whether it's progress is debatable.

Oh of course, its a given.

I have played with W8 on a Lappy with a touch screen and I have to say that I thought it was pretty cool.

Progress though... Well, if tablets are to take over the PC then yes, it is progress, irritatingly, most people do prefer tablets to Laptops these days and so will be pushed this direction?
