Is windows Vista Stable ?

Hi Just wondering if you would class windows Vista as stable ??

Would you recommend me to wait a few more months or just upgrade now ? my specs are more than good anuff for it but just a little worried about driver problems which I have heard about

Yes it been stable for almost a year.

I've found it to be more stable than XP was in its early days. Not a single Explorer crash for instance... and the driver situation for XP was much worse.

what about when it comes to installing software like Utorrent Nero etc would you just download the XP version or is there special 1`s for vista ?

Just get the latest versions of all your software. Things like Nero and Torrent software have had Vista support (and not just bare essentials support, I mean *really* taking advantage of some of the new stuff in Vista) for yonks!

yes vista is stable and a very good OS...

nearly all xp softwares will run on vista...
