Erroneous textures is usually the sign of borked memory on your gfx card, or you have oc'd yoru card too far.

E.D.I.T.: I take it you mean the purple stuff in the distance?

E.D.I.T.2.: Just noticed you dont have the same gfx cards in SLI, have you tried running the faster card in the top slot instead? From what I hear you should always do that if you have two cards which are theoretically the same as the top card gets clocked to the same speed as the bottom card. Could be wrong though.

The slower card needs to be in the top slot :)

thanks for the qiuck replys ill try the faster card in the top slot i have used the other sli bridge that came with the card and it locks up as i disgribe above . this is just happing with the crysis games hwich i love to play all my other games are fine .... none of my cards are overclocked only the bfg card which was overclocked as when i bought it im not into overclocking my cards to be honest guys. i wonder why im gettin these lockups after i exited a game ...

I got strange colours and artifacts with my SLI bridge attached, I removed it and the problem was gone, but thats hardly a solution.

Furthermore, I was playing Fallout 3 and thought the FPS was a bit dodgey, not smooth. I disabled SLi, huge FPS increase up to a solid 60FPS, also some applications and explorer seemed a bit odd too, slow response even with msconfig disabling all startup programs. I dont think SLi was all to blame (recently had a virus from my brother's external HDD) but I sure wish Nvidia put more effort into SLi.

ive swapped the cards the bfg oc edtion is in the top slot now so ill report back later THANK YOU FOR ALL THE REPLYs IVE HAD OF YOU GUYS REALLY APPERICATE IT THANK YOU.....

REGARDS SCUBES...

The slower card only needs to be in the top slot IF the slower card cannot run at the higher speeds of the fastest card (which seems to be the case here).

I have my GTX280 XXX in the top slot and the stock leadtek 280 in the bottom slot, both cards then run at the overclocked speed automatically - saves bios flashing and rivatuning:).

Aaaaaahhhhhh :)

Ive just installed a 2nd GTX and im wondering if they actually run ath the same speeds now.

Ive got the faster EVGA card in the top slot and the slowr POV card in the lower slot but GPU-Z reports stock speeds for both cards so i wonder if they actually run at independant speeds now?
