Is your software actually using all of your nice new CPU?

not sure if this is the right area to post this but here goes.

Does anyone know of any tools that can actually test if your real applications for example cs6 use the features of the latest CPU's i.e AVX

Open task manager, monitor CPU usage on all threads.

Or you can use OCCT, which logs a graph of CPU usage, as well as core temps, fan speeds, ect...

I don't think there is any simple way to monitor the usage of particular feature sets, not that I know of anyway.

The only way I can think is go to those who make the software and ask... or maybe it will be listed in a changelog.
