ISA server

Do any of you guys know if its ok to run two ISA servers on the same subnet. We are using it as a proxy server.

Dont see a problem with that, did you want them to load balance or just have to seperate proxies?

seperate proxies. The old server is ISA 2004 and the new one is 2006.

Shouldn't be any issues, I did the same with Forefront TMG pre-release and Forefront TMG (the successor to ISA 2006).

yeah i've got this setup in our test environment and it works fine. our live array servers are on different subnets though, for obvious reasons. well, actually they are in completely different buildings at opposite ends of the county, but that's another story!

edit: any reason for not going with tmg if you're only just putting this in?

I've got an ISA2004 box as a single NIC proxy only (running websense) and an ISA 2006 box which is the back firewall into our DMZ

Yeah had 2 ISA boxes running side by side for months.
