ISDN signal compared to ADSL signal ?

Hey again,
My line is said to be converted from ISDN on the 26th April (Zen told me ).
I was just wondering, Why can some people get an ISDN digital signal easily but NO ADSL digital signal ??? What is the difference between ISDN and ADSL that makes you unable to receive ADSL signal but able to receive ISDN signal ???

ADSL uses much more frequencies - while there may be enough of the spectrum for ISDN, for ADSL its a different story.
