Hi Guys
Iv just built a gaming PC for a mate and he is having trouble with games. I think it's something to do with the tv.
I built and tested it with my dell monitor through DVI and he has got it attached to a Isis isi-32-900-TVBU LCD through HDMI.

When he loads a game, the screen goes blue (not a BSOD) it just stays that way until a hard reset.

He is trying to play CS through steam but when I tried 3Dmark 2011 it flickered blue and then ran the benchmark perfectly.

Does any one know if its the tv or cable?

The card is a evga 660 sc.

Thanks

Sounds like the TV to me. If you could run it, and then somehow exit it, this would be a good test. Or if you can use external speakers to see if the program/game is still running.

If you can test it with another monitor that would be a good way to test. Its extremely unlikely that it is the cable in all honesty.

Iv tried it on a PC monitor through dvi and its fine, so it must be the tv.
Is there anything that can be done in the tv settings?
