The idea of race separated by visual characteristics is certainly arbitrary, there is no basis for it genetically, for example.

The idea that there is meaningful differences between visually defined races as a result of race is certainly artificial and pretty much entirely without merit.

I think it is for most people these days. The BNP are becoming more popular.

Organizations and people can change or at least become genuinely more moderate. Gerry Adams used to be a terrorist. Look at him now.

We'll see when the result of the membership ballot on constitutional change comes through.

They may be growing slightly in support, but they are still very much a fringe party, at best on par with the green party.

The simple fact that the vast majority of genetic variation is within races, not between them?

About the only genetic trait that doesn't follow this rule is skin colour, which is the trait we currently use to segmentalise people...

Dolph if your argument is so strong, why do you repeatedly resort to the straw man argument that race is simply skin colour, when the truth is that skin colour is but one visible aspect of race. I think it speaks volumes. Hopefully people can see through such tactics when they see them used by yourself and others
