Isn't it about time for Left 4 Dead 3?

I'm guessing all of Valve's game will be waiting on next gen tech + engines. They have Dota 2, TF2 and CS:GO to keep them busy at the moment with updates and what not. I'm sure they are hard at work on a number of sequels and maybe even a new IP! That will somehow be magically related to the Half Life universe yet have totally nothing in common with it

I don't think an expansion pack counts as a new game. Unless it's not an expansion pack?

It wasn't an expansion, it was a standalone game and follow up to 1.6, you could also get it on the xbox.

Whilst I would have nothing against Left 4 Dead 3, I would much prefer a Half Life 3/Ep3 to come out first.

I'm hopelessly addicted to the L4D games, especially the sequel (mostly play Realism Versus). I've clocked over 2000 hours on both games since they came out and play nothing else online. As long as a new entry in the series can freshen up the formula a little and keep major bugs to a minimum (versus especially) I'd welcome it with open arms.
