Isolating wireless from wired with two routers

I've got myself two wireless routers, a Linksys WRT54g and a Netgear WGr614. I know you can use the custom firmware on the linksys to set up separate VLANs for this purpose but don't really want to mess about with that.

I have currently got Router 1 (Wireless disabled) connected to the cable modem. I have configured the 2nd router to use a different subnet and used the DNS servers from my ISP and 3rd DNS using router 1's IP. Connected Router 2's WAN port to a LAN port on Router 1. Now I can pick-up up wireless fine and get internet connection however I can still see IP's from the router 1's subnet.

I'm trying to figure out what the best way would be to isolate the two?

Any input most appreciated.

Cheers
