Hi All i,m going to be changeing my isp soon ,but want to know if i have to cancel my direct debit ,or will the old isp do this ? if i do have to cancel it how do i do this if i can,t log into my old isp details after i migrate ?
Be carefull as some ISP's will carry on charging you even though you have migrated away, so when you have migrated, go into your bank and cancel the DD yourself to be safe, took me about 3 months to stop Tiscali billing me even though id migrated away, i got the money back though in the end, but try and save yourself the hastle of having to keep phoning them up to stop them from billing you as your not on their service anymore.
I migrated from them to UKFSN back in October/November time. All went fine - Nildram charged around £7 to cover the 30 day notice period (around a week's worth)
