ISP for gaming / dling

Was looking for abit of help if possible guys

was looking for a new isp as i mainly do gaming but my stepdad likes to download things overnight while i am not using internet so would be looking at a unlimited broadband , any one got any decent recommendations

i am currently with AOL on 8mb package i've done a speed test thing with BT and it said i would only be able to receive 6.5mb altho i am currently getting 8mb with aol :s

It is LLU enabled, so u can get sky unlimited, Be internet, and O2. It is also 21cn enabled too, which means u could get BT's newest connection too.

My recomendations though for both gaming and downloading would have to be with Sky or BE.

Sky unlimited is basicly as it sounds unlimited, they have never todate, brought into power there FUP, well not that anyones heard of.

They will also reduce your delays to the exchange, you have to ask for this though, but all u do is ring up and say ur a gamer and they will do it, might lose abit of speed but will gain where it matters.

Be will do the same, but im not sure of there FUP (fair useage policy).

Ah if u have there Tv package even better, then you will only pay £10 a month for there unlimited broadband.

Its what i have, just not at high speeds due to distance from exchange but ahwell, can't complain lol.

I would deffinatly call them and see what they reckon you will get, u can normally add a few mb's onto that as they go by BT's stuff untill they can get there hands on ur line.
