Hi, just looking to change our current ISP around, and you lot seem to know the most about this. We're a house of 5 people, currently on a Virgin media bundle of 2Mb cable, lots of TV channels, and also have a BT line that nobody really uses.

2Mb alone isn't really much good for one person, let alone 5 students, and the limits after downloading a certain ammount make it worse. So, is Be the way to go? I've heard good things about them, and the exchange is pretty close as well, so it should be fast.

Well, Sky do a decent package called See, Surf, Speak. TV, internet and phone in one package, starting at around £26 a month.

It's pretty decent from what I hear although they force you to use their own router (which isn't a bad router, but it's locked down so you can't change any settings aside from setting up your network).

Personally, I'm with IDNet who are the best ISP in the country IMO.

What do you use your current connection for? I was looking at getting Virgin media bundle but the net connection was putting me off a bit. Do any of your flatmate's play games online and the such? If so what was it like when everyone was playing a game for example?
