Today I received an email from my ISP accusing me of downloading two Harry Potter games. I was so puzzled as I hate Harry Potter and I've never seen the films let alone download the ***ty games.
After deeper reading I recognised a torrent that I had used. It was one that contained 3000 files and in this were the two Harry Potter games.
However the reason for this trigger was because of the Harry Potter infringements to which I can hand on my heart say I've NOT downloaded. Yes I downloaded the torrent with 3000 files but around 2970 files were skipped INCLUDING Harry Potter as it's *** and the file was 18gig in size, so I didn't want to download all of it.
I just hate been accused of something I've not done. They also bang on about how accurate they are but fail to see it's possible to skip all files in the torrent in question.
I'll certainly be more careful in the future and hide my activity when it comes to torrents. Newsgroup SSL I will stick mainly too now.
