ISP recommendations please?

Maximum of 2mb available here... only internet browsing, very occaisionally music, would like a wireless router, cost is a big factor (for an elderly couple)

Any ideas?
 
Get be unlimited if they live at your exchange and if you got O2 mobile contract then get O2 broadband with discount due to your mobile contract.Service is pretty much same, actually be unlimited is owned by O2.
 
BE if theyre available or o2 with an o2 mobile like the guy said. o2 own BE now but Id still prefer BE if theres no mobile phone.

BE have nice fast connections with no data limits :D

Otherwise, if you only have normal ADSL Max ( up to 8mbps ) available then I would go with Aquiss. Smallish ISP who resell Enta. They have a UK helpdesk so no foreign people to try and explain stuff to. Ive had 2 mates who used these and theyve both been happy with their service. One friend had a problem with Virgin media who were providing their ADSL before and they never fixed it. Mate changed to Aquiss and had the same problem and it was fixed soon after that. My other friend who worked with me was also happy and we both work for a support company who deal with ISP problems daily so he was quite fussy.

Aquiss do have data limits on downloads but the limits are more than reasonable even to those who download a fair amount.
