Looking to swap from Talktalk (Tiscali) to absolutely anything else. Sick to my back teeth of my internet cutting out, the exchange going down and me being blamed for it (No sir, the exchange is okay it's your router) even though the problem fixes when the exchange is repaired and the error is connection to remote computer. They are absolute gash and I'm looking to swap to an ISP where I can have heavy use and my net doesn't cut out like 5 times a day.

Can you get llu in your area? If you can be hands down.

Also I wouldnt rule out your phone line as being the issue with dropping, have you done ALL your internal checks?

I would suggest either BE Unlimited or Sky Max with that kind of usage - from each you get good pricing, excellent service, properly unlimited usage and no traffic shaping.

However, getting either of these relies on having their LLU service activated at your exhange, and in the case of sky - you also need to have a sky TV service (or place your order for one at the same time as the broadband).

Would you be able to tell us the name of the exchange you are connected to? You can find out here pretty reliably.
