Currently and have always been with Virgin Media to be honest and had no issues.
Out of contract now.

Offer price is £51 18 months same as we are.
Internet 250mb
TV Package - not premium sports or films (don't need them) Free TNT sports
Phone line (!) works out cheaper.

Feels a bit tight to lock in for another 18months with nothing added (even a small price increase) + the extra each year.

Just exploring maybe getting separate Broadband and TV with maybe SKY then can probably get a better speed and still pay the same but not used anyone else.

I know it depends where you live (currently in Harrogate HG1) - other requirement would be to use my own Routers if possible to use around the house.

Any cracking deals to aim for ?

Apparently that's the online offer price - if I click anything better even 1 step up on anything it goes to about £80+

Usual Smart TVS - tablets - phones - and 2 kids with PC / Consoles + myself working from home so need reliability otherwise kids turn into Gremlins :)

Thanks in advance.

Just go to one of the broadband comparision sites, you can pick the features you want and get a decent new customer deal. If you want to stay with Virgin, phone retentions and tell them what you found at the current price. If they don't beat it on the first call, they often phone back offering a better deal.

Threatening to leave also helps sometimes, jokes aside :)

yeah currenty on chat to VM they budged a bit .. then disconnected and starting allllllll again.
Even harder to leave it seems..... don't have time to call them today but might have to be the tactic. Funny how disconnects happen when you discussing a cancelation :D

Haha, it's definitely not a coincidence

I did a VM web chat to cancel, asked for the stop date so I could find a better option. After about 1.5 hours, I got an offer of £46 per month for 1Gb+O2 sim. I was paying £63 per month for 500Mb so took the offer.

yes just got them to 1gb and current everything for £51 - happy with that and new router.
So ropey if you just let them get away for it. Feel sorry for some folks who don't know what they doing / just leave it.

I always go onto Uswitch and see what the offers are.
I find the internet service Virgin offers is excellent, but they do like to give you a terrible renewal price before threatening to leave.
