I checked the past few pages to make sure there was no other threads covering this subject!

I was wondering if any of you have been following recently? From everything I've been reading on the internet where ever I could find it, the situation has been getting increasingly more violent. Many children/innocents being killed by bombings etc. I honestly don't know what the Israeli government is trying to achieve as all this will do is create another generation of combatants out of parents of the many child victims of some of these seemingly indiscriminate attacks. Not only that but there is so much brutality by the army towards Palestinians in Israel as well.

I was wondering what anyone else thinks? if they think anything about it at all?

Do you really accept that because a biblical account says that there was a Israelite kingdom 3000 years ago that is justification for displacing an entire population who have been there for the last thousand years or more..not to mention the small issue that Palestine pre-dates the Israelites by some 2000 years or more, and also that European Jews have no more claim on the land than the Arab Palestinians, less in fact as the Palestinians were living there before the huge influx of European Jews after WWII. The Levant to which modern Israel was part was hardly a bunch of goat herding nomads either...it was part of one of the most civilised and culturally advanced empires of its time...it formed part of the Ottoman Empire, it formed part of the Kingdom of Jerusalem, it formed part of the Great Seljuk Empire, it formed part of the Great Macedonian Empire, before the Kingdom of Israel, it was the great City States of Phoenicia and so on..historically its people have been anything but goat herding nomads.

So if you really want to talk about who has the historical claim, then you really need to do your homework.

You dont have a lot of sympathy towards to innocent civilians in Palestine because of bad actions of a minority of the majority of muslims around the world?

So I guess your okay with things like this based on that opinion?

There are some really horribley graphic images coming from Palestine the past week and most of them are children.

The force used by Israel is absolutely absurd, its like fighting flies with nuclear missiles. The more innocents that they kill the more angry people they will create who will then in turn want to kill israelis and they will do that how ever they can because they cant fight jet strikes and drone strikes can they.

Israel cries victim non stop but they are provoking everyday by settling Palestinian land! Then killing innocent civilians with extreme force.

I am not saying Palestine is an innocent party but the majority of the population are! Children included!

England is not so bad.

Its just areas like Birmingham etc or Bradford which can seem like border towns to foreign countries rather then westernised city's.

I am Indian by the way and I was brought up In London before I moved to Suffolk.


Back on topic however the last thing we want in Palestine is ISIS crawling up Hamas's ass and taking over what is left of the country.

Israel are doing themselves no favour in what they are doing to the innocent civilians of Palestine.

IS are not far behind in there conquest of the weakened middle eastern countries.
If these shenanigans continue I see Palestine being the next stop on there roadmap for "liberation".

They were there first before the UN created what is currently Israel.

That logic sounds like a bad divorce!

Man owns a house before he gets married to his new partner. They end up getting divorced after a number of years but the woman is awarded the house in the divorce and the man is forced to leave his home that he owned before they were ever together!

They act as if there the only ****ing ones being hurt here.
