Hey guys

I have been playing BF4 since release, and aside from the obvious issues that everyone has being encountering i have had a pretty solid experience.

HOWEVER

Last night I did some upgrades to my system, I installed a Radeon R9 290, along with a SSD. now all of a sudden I cant even play campaign let alone online without it juddering uncontrollably.

I ran a system test through the settings in game and seem to be pulling a healthy 90fps however my latency has now jumped to over 65,000. i have tried a net reboot, ran speed tests and getting 23 ping, 64mbps downloads and 15mbps upload.

I even uninstalled and redownloaded the game and still the issue persists.

All of my other games appear to be working fine.

Does anyone have any clue what this may be? I am stumped!

Do a driver sweep to remove all old drivers, reinstall a fresh set of new AMD drivers would be what I would do first off bud.

Cheers mate, how can I ensure I remove all the old drivers? and should I use the disc provided with my GPU or get them all from the AMD site?

Get a decent driver sweap from the interweb, I use CC cleaner its free and does loads. If you search google there will be quite a few. Easy to use.

Then go directly to the AMD site and search for the latest drivers in the support section of the site. The ones on the disk will most probs be old by now I think.

Thanks very much guys, it was indeed a conflicting GPU driver from my old Nvidia card. did a full clean and reinstalled and now running as smoothly as fine silk :D
