Issue controlling fan speeds help needed

Motherboard is a Asus P8P67 LE Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge)

Got several fans connected and they seem rather loud, running over 1000rpm atm and wouldnt mind lowering them a tad.

Any idea how to do so? ive tried setting profile in bios from standard to silent but no change in speed at all.

Dunno if your board has fan type selection, my Asus does, make sure you have selected correct fan type also, eg, PWM or DC i think. Also Asus QFan software works well on some asus boards, see if thats available to you also.
