I have replaced my existing psu with a New Corsair PSU and my rtx 3080 with a rtx 4090

I have switched my pc on and get a no signal message

I use an lg oled 4k tv

Now i have a amd 5600 so no intergrated you

I just get a blank screen with no bios and a no display message

I don't know what to do. The gpu lights up and fans work but I am not sure what is going on

Have you tried both hdmi and dp? Definitely plugging them in the right place (not the motherboard)? :o

Double checked all power cables are connected and firmly seated, including motherboard (24+4/8)?

I assume you replaced all modular cables with the new PSU's cables?

Did you update the bios before swapping?

Any POST code display or diagnostic lights on your motherboard? Some Nvidia cards have diagnostic LED's near to the connectors for supplementary power as well.

cheers everyone - i have taken case apart and reseated each cable and now it works. Did have a further issue as when it finally came on i had a memory overclocking fail message on the bios screen but simply saved my existing bios settings and thigs are all good. not sure what a memory overclocking fail message means - i did take out one ram stick to allow me to access the MB 24pin cable. i have never updated my bios - is that something i should do?

The only time I would update the BIOS was to get the motherboard to work with a new processor. Other then that if everything is working as intended I generally don't update anything including the graphics drivers (then again I don't play the latest games).

I would update personally. Your potentionally missing out on bug and compatibility fixes if you stay on an old bios. Especially if your on an AMD system you will be missing out on the latest AGESA updates also.

Enjoy the 4090. The most-likely cause of GC startup-issues are bad connections. It's always good to double check that power/PCIE cables are fully-seated (properly clicked into place), and that card is fully-seated and locked with PCIE slot. Also good to check that PCIE cables are correctly seated at modular-PSU end, and that motherboard 12V connectors are fully-seated.

Your memory-error may have been caused by resetting/powering-off your PC during boot sequence. If you cannot see the screen, it's hard to tell whether computer is rebooting.

The BIOS might have thought that the boot problems were due to overclocking, so entered a 'safe mode' to let you boot up if you had used settings that were too optimistic.
