I hope somebody can help me with an issue I have with a bundle I purchased with Overclockers 4 years.
Bundle:
8Pack Approved - Intel Core i5 6400 @ 4.4GHz Overclocked Quad Core Gaming Bundle
Intel 6400 currently at stock 2.7GHz
Kingston Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C15 2666MHz Dual Channel Kit
ASUS Z170-E
Not in the bundle:
AMD R9 280X
Super flower 550W PSU
OCZ 24G0B SSD
Last week I turned on the PC and it froze on the windows loading screen, not had this issue before. What I've tried to fix the issue:
Any help with this is greatly appreciated

Last week I turned on the PC and it froze on the windows loading screen, not had this issue before. What I've tried to fix the issue:
- Turn off and on a number of times
- Removed ALL USB devices
- Removed each RAM stick one at a time and swapped slots
- BIOS is showing motherboard and CPU temps as normal
- CPU and RAM not being overclocked, back to default - I don't think the 8pack overclock has been running for the past 3 years or so, think a BIOS update stopped it working so I assume it's been default for sometime
- Cleared CMOS
- First thought was a HDD issue
- I created a windows bootable USB drive and restart the machine, same issue and a number of re-starts, It won't go beyond the ASUS motherboard screen - USB drive does work, tried on a laptop
- Also does the same thing when trying to do a Windows Repair
- Not having any other PC parts laying around the house I purchased a Ryzen 3600 and new motherboard because I thought it was one of these and not the GPU/RAM/HDD or PSU
- Installed the new CPU and motherboard with same GPU/RAM/HDD/PSU
- Windows boots without issues (Using it to write this email)
- Have removed the cooler from the CPU, cleaned and re-installed with TIM
- Tried again with the same GPU/RAM/HDD/PSU and same issue
- Left it overnight and still didn't load
Any help with this is greatly appreciated
