Issue with Alienware 17 laptop keyboard typing wrong characters ?

I recently bought an Alienware 17 laptop and the keyboard is typing the wrong characters ? If I type some thing like The letter D it typesz dd3 ! Strangely it only happens when its unplugged from the charger :eek:

Does it sound like a software issue ? Should I RMA it ? How is dells warranty ! I have a 1 year collect and return warranty

Does it happen if you use an external keyboard? It might be worth re-installing Windows. Failing that RMA.

I sell Alienware and have had this a few times. It is either the keyboard or a motherboard fault.
You should have on-site warranty and they will send an engineer out to you.
