My USB card reader has suddenly stopped working.
I've tried it in the USB ports on the top of my case, on the back and on the back of my monitor, and all it does it come up with the same error:
"One of the USB deviced attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it. etc."
I've tried it on my Mother's PC, and it works fine. The driver is even automaically installed.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but it's made absolutely no difference.
Any suggestions?
[edit]Uninstalled all my USB ports, and let them reinstall. Still the same error message.
Windows detects it as "unknown device", installs the drivers (allegedly), then pops up the error message.
