Issue with fan

Hi All, first post on here so please excuse the lack of knowledge

I am having an issue with my new pc where one of the fans seems to stop running now and then, if I give it a nudge to start it then it runs for 30 seconds - 1 minute then very slowly grinds to a stop. It seems to cut out more frequently when the GPU kicks in though I’m not sure if this is just a coincidence. When this fan cuts out it makes my cpu fan run a lot faster (again not sure if this is due to the GPU kicking in so using more processing power?) Any help would be appreciated!

Pc specs ordered:
Case: CIT Blaze (top rear fan is issue)
AMD FX-8300 Processor
Cooler Master MasterAir G100M CPU Cooler
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Graphics Card
16GB 1600MHz DDR3 Memory
1TB Seagate FireCuda SSD
Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
Aerocool Integrator 700W 80+ Power Supply
300Mbps TP-Link WIFI Card

What actually arrived:
AMD FX-8350 Processor
Asus M5A78L-USB3 Motherboard

Hopefully this makes some sense haha!
Thanks Guys!

Might be your first post, but you managed to get data into it which too often takes half dozen posts to get.

Some parts are such old that might be worn out fan.
Slowing down/not running at all/stopping easily after getting moving is what can be expected from worn fan.

Also because of old motherboard there might possibly be some fan control settings lowering fan voltage too low.

And that CPU cooler would anyway struggle to keep temps under control with such power hog CPU.
That cooler was designed purely for fancy bling bling trinket look.
