Hello everyone,

Ive had this issue for quite a while now and im looking for assistance with this. I bought a 4Gb (2x2) Memory pack from OCuk running at 1066mhz to replace my sluggish 2Gb 667Mhz memory. Now whenever i try and boot up the system with the new memory nothing happens just a black screen. However if i stick a 667 memory stick in with the new memory it works, but obviously i wanna use the new memory. Tried resetting the bios/CMOS but nothing changes, just wondering if anyone has a fix for this!

Motherboard: Maximus 2 formula
850w PSU
x2 4850's (CF)
4Gb Kingston 1066 (Old standard 2Gb (2x1Gb) Sticks)
Q6600 with H50 Cooler (Also want to OC my cpu but the memory is killing it every time i go over 3.0Ghz)

Thanks,
SfnX

ye i was thinking that as well. just a bit curious about the voltages itself considering it would only run when my old ram was in place. is there anything in the bios i can do?
