Hi all,
About a month a go the car started making a high pitched noise when braking, similar to that sound you get when running your finger around the top of a wine glass.
It passed its MOT 2 weeks ago and nothing was flagged up on them.
However, over the last week I've noticed the car is pulling to the left when cruising or braking and the noise now happens whenever you turn slightly to the left all the way to full left lock.
I've just had a quick scan through the alloy and the pad and disc look fine, no grooves or ridges on the disc and the pad is still in good condition.
I'm about to head to bed after my night shift but I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on what the problem might be so I can check it out later this afternoon IF the weather holds out.
I changed the pads 6-7 months ago and had no issues until now. Braking is still fine. Its a 2003 MK4 golf 1.6.
So, any suggestions?
