Hi folks,

Seem to have a niggling issue with my PC at the moment.

My OC is safe and stable as houses. It can prime and burntest all day long e'ry day if it wanted to. Temps dont go over 80 which is fine for air cooling imo.

But anyway, when I turn the power off at the wall after shutting my PC down, say at the end of the day, the next day the PC will not pass post.

If I leave it for a few hours, it'll power on no problem. This is with the same settings every time.

What could be causing this?

Silly question but have you tried NOT powering it off at the wall for a night? I used to do that but found it to be of no discernible use and would be of the opinion almost that it should be 'on' so to speak.

Could maybe be a CMOS battery fault but I'm just thinking out loud...

I don't usually turn it off at the wall, it was a one off. Wont be doing it again. It booted up fine this morning after being left plugged in and on 'standby' all night, so maybe it is a bios battery issue, or something to do with the capacitors losing charge.

It's a good thing it worked today as I almost spent hundreds on a new PC bundle :p
