Hi people, I'm looking for some help, I have put together my pc couple weeks ago, here is the spec. If this is wrong place to post please move it, thanks.

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro

- Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

- RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3600mhz

- Motherboard: X570 AsRock Taichi

- Graphic: RTX 3080 MSI SUPRIM X

I'm also using 2 nvme drives, power supply is definitely fine, Asus Thor 850w.

Now my issue is, that my games seem to crash and also I experience lag/stutter every once in a while especially in fps games. it's not too often, every once in a while, depending on the game more or less, seems to me like the more demanding games seem to crash the most, eg assassin's creed Valhalla every 1-2 hours, where something like cod cold war won't crash sometimes at all, but it will have the stutter, it's very hard to explain. I changed wall outlet, turned off any oc on my cpu, my bios is up to date so are all my driver's including Nvidia. Any ideas how I can test is the cause to this? I will try to get a clip of the stutter if I can extract it from stream. I would appreciate any help as I'm a bit fed up, my only suspicion right now falls on the power supply white extension cables I use, otherwise I'm out of ideas.

Okey, I found part of my stream where it happens, time 1:39:05 of the video, hope it's allowed. https://youtu.be/JgLR15e8Jls it's that mini stutter, I get it quite often, initially I thought my it's my gpu getting hot because it's vertically installed right next to glass panel, but with higher fan speed it doesn't exceed 70 degrees so it can't be that

The latest nvidia driver which was released a couple of days ago was supposed to fix crashing in AC Valhalla.

Stuttering could be down to the Internet connection, I would also check event viewer and make sure there's no event 18/19 errors as that could mean unstable FCLK or CPU especially if your doing any overclocking.

You have 3 separate PCIe cables from the psu and are not daisychaining?

Most of my crashes are memory related, you could try swapping memory sticks out to see if that solves it. Also try disabling the xmp and running the ram at its basic speed.

No I'm not daisy chaining, but power draw seem to go between 470-550 on max load, is that Okey? I don't really have another memory kit I'm running 4x8gb right now

There is a known problem with the rtx 3 series graphics card to get a stutter on Call of duty Warzone so presumably on Cold War too.

Maybe Assassin's Creed isn't the most stable of games ?

As I say the first one is a known problem that I knew about before I even saw your post mate. :)

You don't need to change to another memory kit, take out 2 sticks and see if you still crash. Then swap the 2 sticks over and see if you crash with those 2. If you crash with one set of 2 and not the other then there could be an issue with one of the 2 sticks that crash when the others don't

You could be right, AC is full of bugs as always, could be just conincidence on those two gsmes, maybe I will run some other games this week to see if it happens

Well so my crashes in call of duty finally sem to give me a code, according to google it may be a memory issue as i have tried every other fix so far, now is there any software or way to test my ram sticks or do i have to do it manually?

If you download the ryzen dram calculator there is a memtest in there that you can use, I suspect it's more to do with 4sticks not playing nice although it is worth testing all just to make sure none are faulty.
