Hi All, I am hoping you guys can help me as Asus have not dealt with my online help request.
I purchased a new Asus Strix Z270E motherboard and an Intel I5 7600K processor for my son at Christmas to upgrade his pc.
The problem I am having is that he only gets 8 fps even in game menus. It was fine for about 10 minutes or so in one game and then it dropped.
He are the pc specs:
Asus Strix Z270E motherboard
Intel I5 7600K
8gb Hyper X Black 2133mhz
Asus Geforce GTX950
Windows 10
I have tried his Geforce GTX950 on my pc and the card runs with out issue with 90 fps.
Also, the bios for his motherboard is currently 1009 and on the Asus website says validated since bios 0604 "If your motherboard BIOS version number is greater than the BIOS version listed above, then you will not need to flash your BIOS". Do I need to change this? I have tried to download bios 0604 on the Asus website and it downloads the ME Update Tool. When I run this it says file do not need to be updated, so I am assuming this is all ok?
