Hi guys,

This has only happened in the past week but everytime I boot up my PC the network adaptor is not working correctly and I have to uninstall, scan for network changes (reinstalls itself) and then it works.

The mobo is an Gigabyte Z87X-OC Intel Z87.

I've had this build for over two weeks now and like I said this only started happening in the past few days.

Any reason what could cause this?

I have the latest driver installed.

Two questions..

Did you have Virtualbox installed?
-Did you then install Windows 8.1 preview?

Mine got trashed when doing this, in the meantime the only way I can use the internet is by adding a wireless usb adapter, tried a whole range of things to fix the issue.

Can't work out what the fix is. Going to wait until 8.1 final appears and just install that as a new install.

Flashed bios. Rebooted. db error on mobo ("DB = Flash Update is Failed" in the manual)

Brilliant! PC just keeps rebooting and won't post. Took CMOS out for a bit but looks like ill have to take it out for the night?

Had a HP Workstation do this about a month ago. After about an hour on the phone with support taking memory, cable, batteries out, they sent an techie with a new motherboard the next day
