Hi All,

I recently reset my PC and it came up with a message about resent overclocks being unstable and that it has reset some stuff. This is normally a fairly routine message and I go back into the bios and up the multiplier on the cpu back to 44x and reset and everything normally runs fine.

Today however after resetting the PC and going into BIOS the PC keeps restarting after applying the multiplier increase and I get the message again. I know that this motherboard is stable at 4.4Ghz as it has been running like that for the past 3 years. It just seems like during the reset this time some setting has changed somewhere and the PC restarts each time.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte P67-UD4-B3 rev 1.1 board.

Anyone have any ideas on some settings I could try to get the overclock working again?

It shouldnt be a fairly routine msg unless your system is routinely unstable.

I would just start at scratch, set everyting to stock settings, then start adjusting your multi 1 at a time testing for stability each time your raise it, once it becomes unstable again just add a little more vcore to stabalise it.

Well, thats partly the issue its never unstable it just never get that far. Just reset and gives me the message each time. I will have a look at it tonight what sort of Vcore should I be using for a 4.4Ghz overclock?
