Ok, recently uninstalled Portal 2 by accident (was trying to uninstall Protoype), I've now reinstalled Portal 2 but since completing at about 11am this morning, I have as yet been unable to get the bloody game to run, every time I try to start the game it does the "completing installation" thing but it then gets to 2% and throws out an error saying "Incomplete installation of Portal 2 (16)".
Now I know people had issues on release due to steam servers being busy but as far as I can find that was a (10) error, I've verified game cache, restarted steam, tried changing download region and offline mode, trying starting the game from the steam folder and restarting my computer several times.
What's worse is for some reason either the Steam website is down or I can't get on to it, so I can't check any threads on the forums or make a post myself.
Anyone have any suggestions before I just reinstall all 11gb of the bloody thing?
