Bought a Samsung 28" tv and monitor yesterday 2 in 1, as I wanted both really and it was relatively cheap when comparing to other just monitors , i want to use it as my main display and keep my old monitor for browsing etc. I've plugged the new monitor in using hdmi cable and it's all come up working fine..
But I've noticed the recommended resolution is 1366 x 768 , on this res it looks just like my other monitor no blurry image and it fits the screen perfectly , but when I try use the full 1080p resolution it blurs the image ?? Tried using the overscan in amd but it doesn't make any difference, can anyone shed any light on the issue please ?

Is it a Full HD TV? My guess would be that it's max resolution is actually 1366x768 with some sort upscaling for 1080p which will never look right.

Is it this one, 28" TV monitor for sports fans

T28D310EW
if so not a full hd panel
Resolution
1366 x 768

Or this one, SAMSUNG T28E310 28" LED TV , from the purple shirts also not full hd.

Take it back you can get full hd's the same size or bigger for about a tenner more.

Yep I saw that after a quick Google, that's your problem then, it'll not run beyond 720p effectively.

Yeah it's that one for sports fans , that's annoying I assumed it would just be full hd I thought they all are, when I plug ps4 into it , it comes up on screen saying 1080/60 ... Think I may have thrown the box also :( ... ( well left it out for the bin men although it's not recycling day today! )
Thanks for the help, if I do happen to have the box at home, what tv/monitor is full hd ? Looking for about same size don't really want to go any bigger at 1080p for a monitor

I'm not overly familiar with monitor/tv combos. Will you actually use the built in tv tuner or what are your reasons for getting one? Is it just for ps4? If so you'd be much better off getting a 27 inch 1080p monitor and there's no shortage of them in and around that price range.

Yeah I'll be using it as a tv also , so the other half can watch tv if I want to watch football or something like that as we only have 1 main tv at the moment.
