Issue with z97 board, ssd and M2 ssd

Hi guys,

just got an M2 SSD installed it today on the MSI z97 G5 board and it took one of my SSD's out of service. i've changed sata pports out a few times.

i have managed to format the M2 SSD.

Check your board manual, from memory some of them the M2 slot uses 1 or 2 or the sata slots? May be the case... If you disconnect the m2 do all the sata drives come back online?

On that mobo SATA5 and SATA6 ports won't work with an M.2 installed. Was the SSD in one of those?
