Hi peeps.
Been trying to add some extra memory to my Daughters machine.
The motherboard is an Asus asus p5w64 ws pro
It is currently running 2 x 1gb corsair sticks. But when I try to add the new memory sticks that I bought from OcUK and turn the machine on it just hangs at the bios startup screen.
Things I have tried.
Any ideas what the issue may be.
Machine is running Vista 64bit.

- Reset cmos
- Removed older memory and installed new memory.
- Changes memory timings with older memory in then save bios shut down and installed new memory.
- Cracked my head constaly against the wall trying to sort this issue.
Any ideas what the issue may be.
Machine is running Vista 64bit.
